This installation guide is for SpeedBlog v01.00.35 or above. Versions prior to this can be upgraded safely by following the upgrade guide instead of this one. To install SpeedBlog, you need to login as host and ensure that your DNN installation meets the following minimum requirements: SpeedBlog Minimum Requirements - DNN 5.1 or higher
- Installation on root Portal. Child Portals are not supported
- .NET 3.5 or higher
- Ajax.NET 1.0 or higher
- SQL Server 2005 or higher
- Full Trust Level
- ReflectionPermission, WebPermission, AspNetHostingPermission
- In addition to above, your ISP must not block outgoing connections from your Web Application.
Install Procedure PS: Whether you’re installing the full product or the trial version, its best to always start with the latest version. - Login as Host.
 - From the Host menu, choose Module Definitions.
 - Choose install Module Definitions from the drop down.
- Click the
 button, select the file you downloaded from SnowCovered and click next.
- Allow restricted file types from the next screen. SpeedBlog uses these two file extensions (.xsd, .inc) to disallow downloads from client side.
- Click Next twice, review the release notes and the license agreement. If you agree, check Accept License and click Next to proceed with the install.
- That’s all the steps needed to install SpeedBlog. Your install at the end should look something like this.
